I ate an egg this morning. One sunny side egg.
You might be thinking, "Ok, and?"
Let me explain.
For me, eating just one egg is a win.
My body asked for a fried egg, and instead of having a couple of eggs (because I thought one egg wasn't enough), and/or adding toast to the side (because having just an egg didn't seem right) I followed myself and had just an egg.
I followed my wants and needs instead of a mass opinion of "Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, make sure you have enough."
Or eggs are bad for your heart, choose the apple instead.
I said yes to myself today.
I had just one egg.
